Labor Day Weekend is almost here and with the return of the Haitian Labor Day Festival in New York it is going to be memorable.
From Kassav and Tabou Combo to some of Haiti's best groups, the Haitian Labor Day Festival will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Eisenhower Park in NY.

2016 Haitian Labor Day Fest

East Meadow, NY – July 13, 2016 – Venus Int’l Productions, VIP, is bringing the most anticipated show back to Eisenhower Park on Saturday, September 3, 2016. The Haitian Labor Day Fest’s line-up is overflowing with some of Haiti’s most talented groups and a few extra surprises. From pre-fest kick-off parties to ending the weekend off right with a series of amazing events, the long Labor Day weekend is set to reach the record books.

This year the Haitian Labor Day Fest is bringing out groups like T-Vice, Djakout #1, Kreyol La, Boukman Eksperyans, CaRiMi, NuLook, Gabel, and Karizma to showcase Haiti’s multitude of talent, The group Tabou Combo that will soon be celebrating 50 years of success in the music industry will also share the stage with Zouk master’s Kassav for a show stopping performance that will seduce music lovers and enliven fans of all ages.

“We have always been proud to host one of the biggest festivals in the New York area during Labor Day weekend. We love bringing people together to enjoy Haitian culture at its finest, food, music, artisan – what more do you need?” says VIP’s CEO, Urbain Richard.

The music will set the standard on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Lakeside Theater of Eisenhower Park. Many DJ’s will be on the turntables turning up the music, DJ’s like the Untouchables, DJ Stakz, Doctor Sound, Jimmy, DJ Henry, Major Movements, Ricky Groov, Nou La Baby, DJ Rudy and DJ Ricky Mix. Hosts Alex Abellard from the group Zin and Haiti’s hottest songstress Rutshelle will keep the vibe going from show time at 4pm until the last band performs and closes the show right.

As a means to encourage everyone to come early, the Haitian Labor Day Fest is making sure that kids under 12 get in free before 4pm. Gates open at 3pm.
