GAZZMAN'S "GOLDEN 5" regarding DISIP CD!

When marketing a brand new CD on the market, as is the case for GAZZMAN and DISIP, it is VERY IMPORTANT to get the choices right in terms of the MUSIC VIDEOS you choose to sell the product to the public. It is just as important to choose THE RIGHT ORDER in which you decide to release the different VIDEOS FOPR THE SONGS. The timing must be right so that a potential hot song does not lose its momentum in the process. Also KEEP IN MIND...SE PA TOUT BEL MIZIK KI OBLIJE GIN MUSIC VIDEO in a realistic world.

Having heard and analyzed the DISIP CD....In my opinion, these are the music videos that the DISIP team should go with.

*1) HEARTBREAK & MISERY: Gazzman had already chosen this one in terms of the first video to be released because he started shooting the video for this one pretty early. We can't say that we disagree with him because we happen to think it is the RIGHT MOVE based on the reaction he has gotten when playing this song LIVE. The fans seem to be singing the chorus word for word....so I am all for it.

*2) SAN MANTI with DENER CEIDE: Undeniably one of the 2/3 most popular tracks on the CD. It also has star power in Dener Ceide singing as well on the song. DO NOT MAKE THE ZENGLEN MISTAKE of being talked out of Dener appearing in the music video. GAZZMAN MUST INSIST that DENER be there in the video to help present it in its purest form...the way that the song was meant to be sold to the public....WITH THE 2 OF THEM IN THERE.

*3) IT DOESN'T MATTER with JESSIE BELVAL: Gazzman has a couple of excellent Compas Love/Zouk tracks on the CD such as "Cette Fois-ci" and "Lanmou Pi Fo"; but what gives THIS SONG THE ADVANTAGE to me is the crossover factor to the Antilles/French market due to its Zouk flavor, as well as the appeal of the talented Belval. The others CAN do their thing when the band play the songs LIVE; consider a music video for THIS SONG as a future investment in the overseas market. It also will appeal TO THE LADIES very much.

*4) J'AI BRULE LES ETAPES: "As much as we are aware that this song almost did NOT make it on the CD; and it also is NOT a favorite of a key decision maker in the team; YOU CAN'T FIGHT WITH RESULTS. When most people pick out THIS SONG as one of the TOP 3 BEST SONGS ON THE CD on a consistent basis; when radio personalities CHOOSE this particular song as one that has potential to bring the band a major hit....YOU GO WITH THE FLOW BY RESPECTING WHAT'S BEING SAID. Also, it is a brilliant opportunity to make a SIMPLE but VERY POWERFUL VIDEO based on the lyrics...as it details to everyone WHO GAZZMAN IS. His struggles and how he overcame many obstacles ever since he was younger, to become one of the top vocalists/artists of his generation in the Compas Direct genre. A "Role Model", "Never Giving Up", "Perseverance" type of story...that MANY PEOPLE who SEE the video...can use as a positive in their own lives.

*5) LANMOU PI FO or SE FOT PAPAM: The first one because it simply is just such a beautiful song that can't be ignored. It will grow on you for sure. The second song simply because of the powerful message.

IT IS A MUST THAT THESE 5 BE THE ONES whose videos are released FIRST....and then after that...any other video that GAZZMAN decides to release on the market....if he really wants to MILK THAT CD for as long as he can due to the many positive reviews....will be just icing on the cake.
If you notice on the list....NO UPTEMPO/VOYE MONTE SONGS from the DISIP CD....A testament to how good the slow/mid-tempo songs on this CD are. They are so good that COULEUR can just entertain the fans with the uptempo songs...."NAN BAL".

A Suivre.....JWET NAN MIN OU "LEADER" a....but knowing GAZZMAN; he'll find a way to.....U KNOW WHAT? Ann suiv!
