MICKAEL GUIRAND: 4 REASONS why we might "NOT".......

Have we "REALLY" seen the last of former CARIMI vocalist MICKAEL GUIRAND on stage in a "BAND" setting?

Yesterday, a NYC promoter and I were talking about that...and it seems that we might have different point of views on the matter.

The promoter thinks that we should NOT be surprised if we see MICKAEL come back in a new band COMPOSED OF ESTABLISHED/WELL KNOWN MUSICIANS. He also thinks that if a current well known band in the market has an issue with their lead vocalist; or if the right pay/offer comes in to add MICKAEL to a band that needs a singer or a second singer....the promoter thinks Guirand might bite if the right approach pitch is made.

IN TERMS OF ME...and I might be wrong....ON STAGE IN A REGULAR BAND, I believe we might have seen the last of MICKAEL GUIRAND. YES...It is possible that he might make a few special guest appearances here and there; and also ON STUDIO CD; but I am not so sure that we will ever see MICKAEL on stage performing regularly with a band....UNLESS IT'S CARIMI...and sources close to the group tell me that the word "IMPOSSIBLE" is what comes to mind if I'm thinking that it has the possibility of happening.

My reasons for thinking that we might have seen the last of MICKAEL GUIRAND on stage in a regular band are as follows.

1) *A couple of times MICKAEL GUIRAND has told me ON THE RECORD that he won't go in the studio to work on a song or what have you...unless "his coach" Richard Cave is there. Not sure if because they no longer work together...if that will change. There was such a level of comfort for Mickael working with Richard for so many years, he probably does not see himself in the studio being coached by anyone else.

2) *MICKAEL was an "owner" of one of the most popular groups in the HMI. To come back to another band...might be looked at as a STEP DOWN by Mickael and others. I know that Mike is a very PROUD MAN, and his proud ego might NOT let him even pursue that avenue.

3) *It's also very possible that he simply had GOTTEN TIRED OF THE HMI & TOURING ALL YEAR LONG! His batteries maybe had run out and needed to be recharged...but maybe it might not be recharged to the point that it makes him want to come back to the business full time.

4) *HE IS NOT A COMPOSER and that's very important. If you are a composer and an idea goes through your head musically, you can just get on the keyboard/piano or guitar to do a little something to get the ball rolling. If you are a singer and you don't really play any instruments and don't compose, it might be a little bit harder for the motivation factor to keep the flame burning.

I just don't think we'll see MICKAEL GUIRAND back ON STAGE IN A BAND....unless that band is CARIMI! (Even though in my opinion THAT OPTION is a NO at 99.9% right now, all I can say is that stranger things have happened)
