President of Haiti to the Haitian Labor Day Fest

“Sweet Micky added to the 2016 Line-Up”

New York, New York – August 1, 2016 – Venus Int’l Production is proud to announce a new addition to the 2016 edition of the Haitian Labor Day Fest line-up, former President of Haiti, Michel J. Martelly and his group Sweet Micky. Performing live at Eisenhower Park on Saturday, September 3, 2016, Sweet Micky fans will be able to enjoy the musical greatness of this musician turned President.

Known as the President of Compas, Sweet Micky’s flair for entertaining has never faltered and music lovers will find a touch of nostalgia with the creator of “Ou La La,” “Coco Rico,” “Pa Manyen Fanm Nan,” and “GNB,” while enjoying something new from the maker of “Kite Yo Pale,” Martelly’s latest single.

Only a few weeks away, the Haitian Labor Day Fest is transforming Eisenhower Park into a Compas mecca with musical greats Tabou Combo, sharing the stage with Zouk sensation Kassav, Racine masters Boukman Eksperyans, as well as groups like Djakout #1, T-Vice, Kreyol La, Gabel, Nu Look and Karizma. Hosted by Zin’s own Alex Abellard and the beautiful songstress Rutshelle Guillaume and hyped by a list of some of the best DJ’s New York and Haiti have to offer, Labor Day weekend just got hotter.

Also a welcomed addition is the Bus Service for patrons coming to Eisenhower Park on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Bus shuttles will be stationed in front of Bayview Medical – 2098 Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie and at the corner of Cortelyou Road and Nostrand in front of Factory Mizik leaving Brooklyn at exactly 2pm. People are encouraged to use the Bus Service to enjoy a stress free day of fun, music and entertainment.
