IT'S TIME FOR SOME BANDS TO STOP DOING "THIS"!

How many times have you watched a Haitian music video and at the end of it is says "TO BE CONTINUED" or "A SUIVRE"....only to wait and wait, and wait, and wait...until the BANDS hope that YOU forget about it.....EPI YO BAY VAG TOU!
QUITE a few times if you ask me. There have been a few music videos that have hit the market where a storyline is going on in there, and to grab your attention for the next music video...they pull you in with those famous "TO BE CONTINUED" lines, and then you never hear anything about it again. Off the top of my head, the one that I remember the most is from DJAKOUT's mega hit "REYALITE A" where POUCHON on his knees, proposes to a young lady, only for TI REGI to come in on the scene and grab her from the area and walk off with her. THOSE FAMOUS WORDS "TO BE CONTINUED" comes in at the end of the video....along with a few bars/notes/vocals of a song.....of course DJAKOUT has filmed a couple of videos AFTER THAT.....and THEY HAVE NOT EVEN GIVEN YOU A "SNIFF" OF A SEQUEL in there.
SE BON POU NOU FANATIK....NOU RINMIN ZIN TWOP!!!!!!!!
It's time for the BANDS to deliver on these empty promises. You have to let your audience know that YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR CRAFT, and that when you start a storyline in a music video...just like a SOAP OPERA that they are glued to on the tv screen...they are going to want to know how the story ends. VIDEO DIRECTORS/SCRIPT WRITERS should hold the bands to THAT because after all, you are the ones helping in terms of conveying the stories visually. If you are a band GUILTY of having done that...SHAME ON YOU; but what you guys fail to realize is that, it can actually have your fans, as well as fans of other bands ANTICIPATING THE NEXT MUSIC VIDEO because of the storyline.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT!
