We asked ROBERTO MARTINO his opinion on what ZAGALO said to KM about KLASS in regards to "ZAGALO saying" that Klass had tied T-VICE and DJAKOUT for holding on to number 1 spot in the HMI for the longest time...this is what he told us.

ROBERTO MARTINO: "Our prime lasted way more than 3 years. Memwa Ziggy kout ampil. ;). "Banm tvice mwen" and "Men medikaman" back to back which came out in 1998 and 2001 respectively which lasted MORE than 3 years. Vicela went back on top after the "kitem viv" CD which came out in 2007."

Before some of you fanatik malad think I'm defending anyone or a band, slow your role. I'm just asking a basic and plain question.
Kisa yo use nan HMI la pou nou konnin le on jazz #1and #2 etc... I need help to better understand this industry and how success is measured.

When a band is the hottest in the business at any moment....everybody that should know "KNOWS". THE INDUSTRY KNOWS. We're talking about promoters especially...The band that brings out most people at parties all over the HMI. The one that most promoters want to do a party with THE MOST in order to make money...blah blah blah. Bands like Nu Look, T-Vice, Carimi, Djakout and others have been there at one time or another.

Nobody can top what these bands did...... Especially Djakout starting in '02 with Z-BO entertainment! Promotion alone made these guys unstoppable. Everybody had money too which made the difference between today (clean and dirty money lol) and back then..... La Familia and Mannigueta albums were fire! :)
