Are MUSICIANS to blame for disappearing MONEY MEN in the HMI

MANAGERS (Money Men) vs MUSICIANS is now the latest thing to keep an eye on.
In the last couple of months I have received complaints from a couple of managers/money men (Some from the past) in regards to musicians. The general tune that seems to be coming from them is that MUSICIENS INGRA...THEY ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND WHEN YOU ARE SPENDING MONEY ON THE BAND...BUT ONCE THE SPENDING STOPS OR SLOWS DOWN...OU TE GINTAN PA BON POU JAZ LA. One former money man/manager telling me that MUSICIANS AP FI N SOUZE TOUT KOB OU NAN BAGAY JAZ....EPUIS APRES SA...YAP VOYE W ALE. SE SA ANPIL NAN YO FE AK TI MEDAMES KAP SPONSOR YO DEYO A.
One musician who did speak to us did tell us that on the other hand, there are money men/managers who spend money at the beginning, and then they DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISED THEY WERE GOING TO DO before taking over the duties agreed upon; and then demand to get compensated from all of the band's gigs in order to get their money back...even before delivering what they had agreed upon.
The bottom line is this....it is NOT the first or last time that I have heard the term "MUSICIENS IPOKRIT".....and it is also not the first or last time that we've heard of people promising bands the moon financially; and what they are going to do for them....only for them to bail out because YO PAT GIN KOB VRAIMENT.
A former money man in Florida told us that "If you notice, there are less and less moneymen in the HMI today, compared to in the past. SI TELMAN JAZ YO JWE MONEYMEN YO.....JWET LA VINI PA INTEREST POU NOU ANKO. LE KONSA...SE NAN LOT BAGAY OU OBLIJE AL INVESTI KOB OU. Investing money on bands where the musicians in the band AP PALE W MAL DEYE DO OU...despite the fact that you are the one spending the money for them to exist....it just was not fun anymore. It is very rare that you see a band treat a money man as an equal partner/manager in a band in their thinking. Most of the time, they just want you to spend money on the band and on the musicians for some personal stuff...and then kick you to the curb once your money slows down; or when they find the next money opportunity."
