*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What should the fans expect from the group's NYC grand premiere?
JAMES DOUZE: "To me their should expect great things, such as great performance, tightness of the band, Great music, a lot of energy, and a great impression."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What makes your band different from all the other bands in the New York City market?
JAMES DOUZE: "I can say musiclly speaking we're difeferent. NOU PA SANBLE AK OKENN DJAZZ KI NAN BIZNIS LA DEJA. Musiceans nou byen formé, yo se neg ki ale lekòl pou aprann jwé music, & nou pap jwe mizik paske nou wè lot moun ap fè... epi nou decidé pou Nou fè tou. Most of my musicians are polivalent, se sa ki fè album nou ap sonnen diferan. Tout saa yo fè pati difference ke nou fè from all of the others."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Poukisa Ou chwazi nom sa....Jaz NY la....instead of any other name?
JAMES DOUZE: "Paske NY se te central konpa ke li te ye, epi bagay yo chanjé central la vi'n positioné yon lòt kote. Nou rann noukont de saa, se sa ki fè nou pran disposition'n nou di fòk ke NY refòmé, men pou New York refòmé nou dwe vini ak yon Djazz ki konpetan plus yon Nom byen determiné ki pou Sonnen fò & ki inpresyonan. Se youn bon rezon ki koz Nou Chwazi DJAZZ NEW YORK LA pou Nou relé Band nan."
