ZENGLEN drummer KENNEY dropped this note on his Facebook page yesterday...READ BELOW...and we asked him to elaborate on it.

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: WHY do you feel that way?
KENNEY: "It's something I experienced first hand today while at work man. I have 2 new Haitian students (just came from Haiti few days ago).. instead of the Haitian students in my class whose been here for 2-3yrs helping them..... they were making fun of them instead. I have Hispanics in my class "Mpa janm we sa... menmsi yo soti Mexico, Guatemala or any Latin American countries... yo toujou ede lot man."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: So you believe it's a "HAITIAN" thing?
KENNEY: "Se sure lot moun nan lot peyi ka konsa, but it seems as though we, Haitians, are #1 in "hatred for each other: it's evident so early in our kids!
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What in your opinion should be done to STOP THIS at the "root"?
KENNEY: "I'm not a psychoogist but I think it starts at home, in the communuty, in the neighborhood Pat. We have to show more examples of love and unity. The willingness to help our fellow brethren just because he or she is haitian (yes, just because he/she is haitian).
We have to model love and compassion towards each other and for our kids to pick up on it."
