If what a promoter told me is accurate, BOSTON looks like they just took a major hit in terms of CLUBS in the market. You guys already know how difficult it can be to get THE RIGHT CLUB that is KNOWN and WELL LOCATED geographically; and with BOSTON having a 2 A.M closing time for parties....one of the promoters told us that a major venue that is popular with HMI promoters for parties, will ALLEGEDLY now require to END their parties at 12:30/1 A.M.

IF THAT IS THE CASE and IF IT REMAINS THAT WAY....that will be a major hit on the Boston party scene according to that promoter.

Let's see how this develops.

From a marketing perspective, that means 7 or 9pm concerts. Something this industry lacks.

Actually, this can be a Great thing for the Boston HMI.
Just imagine, going to dinner at around 6Pm and finishing the evening at a konpa Dance from 8Pm to 12:30 AM
That would be my Ideal Weekend

This move has advantage & disadvantage.
Advantage, they can have successful gigs on Sunday cuz ppl won't b too tired for work On Monday
Disadvantage: It might take time before before get used to it. A u know, change can be difficult

The Boston club scene has always been murky....... But I never understood why these promoters hasn't taken advantage of PROVIDENCE/RHODE ISLAND area..... Late club closings at 4 am and it's not far from Boston! C'mon guys there are other alternatives!
There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.

The promoters shouldn't worry. They'll get their attendance regardless. It's the club owners that are at loss since their liquor won't sell as much.

Anyways I'll stay in Florida lol we domt have the problem. If I am moving, I'll move to new York, Atlanta, Vegas or LA [kote ki pa ferme à 1h yo]. Se party mwen vin party nan USA mwen menm
