We asked NYC promoter VLAD of ENTOURAGE, what he sees in the future in New York for 2 bands currently going through a transition CRUZ LA and KARIZMA. Read what he told us below. (Read below the picture)
VLAD: " CRUZ LA will survive because in my opinion...SE JSUAV ki star jazz la. I know that out there there are some critics that say different things about him, but however you turn it, the fact that he is still here, that's the reason why the band will survive. Had he been the one that left, it would have been tough for Cruz La. He's here, there is hope for the band. They will be ok.
As far as KARIZMA, I will say that despite the fact that they lost Emmery and JR, I really don't think it's a huge blow for the band. Why? Because I think that the fans will be curious to see what the new lineup brings, and that in itself will help the buzz surrounding the new lineup. Karisma now is like a NEW BAND with the SAME NAME.
What I can tell you about both groups is that they missed the huge opportunity to stake their claim in the NYC market after Carimi broke up. Now because they let 2 NEW bands like KAI and VAYB get into the mix, and because people already know the players in those groups well...IT WILL BE MORE DIFFICULT for KARIZMA and CRUZ LA than if those 2 bands were not here."
