We asked ENPOSIB vocalist/composer MEDJY the following question below. READ.
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: In order....Name the most popular Montreal based bands on this list in order. Enposib, Konpasoul, Konesyon, 4Mula, Black Parents.
MEDJY ENPOSIB: "I would say Black parents, Enposib, Koneksyon, Konpasoul, 4mula.
*1) Black parents in first position, because of their hit single "Vini m palew cheri", and their hit carnival "Farinen", old band known by most of the kompa consumers.
*2) Enposib is next, because of our hit single "Bom sou 2 bo", new band known for our original sound.
*3) Koneksyon in third place cuz they attract a lot of people here, so they're moving up... thats good!
*4) KonpaSoul in 4th position cuz, there's no doubt on the fact that they dropped an amazing album... but it needs more exposure.
*5) 4mula in last position cuz they're the newest band in the HMI and with great musicians.
But....this order could change quickly."
