the bar has been raised in terms of lyrics and and arrangements, so the next band that will come with a cd better come ready.
and I agree with Boogie, I am not worried about Arly he has yet to fail with a cd, so he is right about that.

neg yo rele Boogie a.... Se pale li pale selman. In hindsight he's telling bands to sit at home and not make any music ....... But if he was a serious promoter, he would encourage other bands to release music to keep the market juicy and in turn have better lineups at bals with fresh music for 2016. Everybody eats including you Boogie! Would you say this to the bands you represent?!?! No wonder your bands are suffering in NYC....... With advice like that they'll never get booked. Just think about it.

I was talking to a friend of mine abt Zenglen this afternoon abt the same thing. Jazz la pa nan biznis. Yo mouri nan film nan. Good music isn't good enough. Marketing strategy zero baré. A Qui la faute?
By the way, I disagree with u on Djakout. Djazz la gen 99 problem but playing heavy isn't one.
