BOSTON PROMOTER PICARD PUTS SUPERDUKE ON BLAST FOR KLASS!

Well known BOSTON promoter PICARD was heated at Superduke when called us after reading DJ SUPERDUKE's comment about the KLASS CD. This is the statement that he sent us below.

PICARD: "As a club owner and a bal organizer with 16 years of experience (Kompa Grande, Roxi, Matrix, Guilt, Tamboo and Candibar), I come forward to rectify a point on the statement made by DJ Superduke on the Klass album.

As far as I'm concerned, DJ Superduke is neither a kompa DJ nor a musician, therefore he lacks any capacity to analyze the new Klass album. I hired him 3 times before to play; once at Tamboo and another time at Guilt, and I had to let him go due to the dissatisfaction of the kompa fans and the third time, I had to only hire him just to break the night with some "Raboday" and "Rara" musical and I made sure to hire another Kompa DJ to close the night.

My experience in managing clubs for 16 year enable me to affirm that DJ Superduke is not a Kompa DJ.
As a matter of fact, every club that he tried to open to the Haitian public result in closing within a couple of weeks: for example La Perle in Everett and samba in Somerville. These are proofs that DJ Superduke is not a Kompa DJ.

Oh Lord. One more person who cannot respect someone else opinion. As Yef stated, it is an observation not a fact. Anybody is entitled to his or her own opinion or observation.

He is not a Konpa DJ. I am not a DJ, but I bet Konpa is one of the easiest music style to mix. And maybe one of the most boring style of music to DJing since all the DJs in Haiti complain about it.
