This has been pretty much the norm for years now...yet nothing really has been or will be done about it...

the top bands will plan accordingly will have relatively no issues - maybe a cancelled gig or two.

Ti Djazz ki pwal fer 'promotional tour" aka Vakans will still do it even if its just the band owners.

And those that really dont have anything new or popular out will use the issues as an excuse..work on new material and be ready for December or tour elsewhere and maybe do a 1 week appearance in Haiti during the summer to honor some gigs

If i were a band owner, I'd go play overseas more, in the west indies and out of the American continent
