FABRICE ROUZIER gives BOOMING SEAL OF APPROVAL to ENPOSIB!
__________________________________________
Check out what FABRICE ROUZIER told us about ENPOSIB's debut CD, as well as something he added on his page personally upon listening to the CD this morning.
FABRICE ROUZIER: "I listened to the album twice this morning. They have an appeal that is superior to anything that i have heard for a long long time. You will find some clichés in there, and actually i found more Djakout in there than Carimi but their creations are fresh and i understand why they wanted to keep it "theirs"...It's a very nice product...Even with the clichés, these guys have THEIR sound. That is the primary thing missing in most new bands these days."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: In your opinion...The songs that will stand out and become HITS...Your PICK or PICKS?
FABRICE ROUZIER: "I honestly like all of them. This is a rare album that you can listen completely. It is like a novel. Better yet, when you listen to the interlude, it makes you want to listen to the next song and on and on...Very well sequenced order. I believe that there will be more than one hit on this. The public will decide. You will also notice that the songs are short and sweet meaning that they are radio friendly...Now having them played on Haitian ( Pirate and less pirate ) radios is another story....But in the French Antilles, this will go to the top."
Below is what Fabrice wrote earlier on his page...
FABRICE: "I already listened to the album twice this morning on Apple Music. I will make sure to go get a physical copy tonight. It is quite rare today to find such a fresh album ( for me at least ! ). Honestly, the last time that i was this agreeably surprised was with NY All Star's "Se la vi " an that is more than 10 years ago. The album is really a new contemporary sound in Haitian music. The songs are well crafted with unconventional lyrics but with strong commercial appeal and lots of humor. Nico, Medjy and the band have a solid product and i hope that it brings them much deserved success. This is a shameful plug but if you love music and not just Haitian music, you should go get your copy tonight or better yet, buy it on iTunes. I'm a sucker for album art and liner notes so i'll go for my physical copy. Great job guys. I will see you tonight""
