Iam huge die hard fan and without voye monté Arly is great but because of Richie different style of writing; Richie has the edge over Arly. I do not hate NL or Arly's music but I prefer Richie's style and so are many konpa listeners. What Lionel is trying to tell us. When you are the man who is solely responsible for making so many HMI artist as "superstar" you must respect that. Had Arly done that I would have had the courage to openly admit it.
For example, Gracia Delva, Darbens, Reginal Cange, Frero, Klemay. In addition, he has written hits for so many Tvice, Gazzman and the list goes on. So this is where he has the edge. Sorry but the man is good at what he does. You dont write hits and made so many artist superstar by "luck." The man is a frickin genius. For you to be able to study one style, know their vocal rage, and turn whomever into a superstar pa gen jwèt la non bro. What happened to Gracia without Richie?
For example, Pipo in Nulook vs Pipo in Klass. In less time, Richie took a superstar and turn the beast into a megastar. Same Pipo right? but why Arly couldnt done what Richie did with Pipo?
Agree! The two are just nights and days. Ritchie is way way better and his style is just super great. I think Arly would admit that Ritchie is better than him. Just look at Pipo now and case close yeah the same Pipo that was in NL. Common people
