NU LOOK/LAPORTE: If they separate again..IT MUST BE FINAL!

The same night last month that NU LOOK had their CD release party for "MY TIME"; a well known HMI personality there at the party observing the band with me; basically told me that LAPORTE WOULD BE LEAVING NU LOOK soon to join the group WOW (Money G's group). That was over or close to 1 month ago. I had heard rumblings of the sort NAN LA RU A; but left it alone in order for me to observe and see. As you all know...LA RU A RINMIN FE BRUIT ANPIL...many times for no reason.

When NU LOOK went on tour in Haiti without Laporte; it was not seen as anything NEW because the group had travelled to Canada weeks before without Laporte; which would probably indicate "possible" traveling issues for the guitar player...which if the case, would not be the first time....no big deal. Then last weekend...BACK IN THE STATES AFTER THEIR HAITI TOUR, the group went to New York....NO LAPORTE in sight.

When we got in touch with MONEY G. of WOW today about the LAPORTE issue, he told us that he is NOT authorized to give any interviews on the band regarding anything; instead telling us that a statement would be coming out this week from the group's management. He did NOT straight up deny it by saying "NO". LI TE KA DI "NON" EPI LI FINI...so no denial.

Here's the BOTTOM LINE....

I don't care WHO is to blame or at fault...but SI LAPORTE KITE NU LOOK ANKO...se pou ni NU LOOK...ni LAPORTE femen LIV sa....FOREVER!!!!!! "IF" and I say "IF" LAPORTE leaves NU LOOK "again"...that BOOK NEEDS TO BE CLOSED OUT FOREVER....never to be looked at again. It is becoming a JOKE....A LAUGHING STOCK this LAPORTE/NU LOOK episode. It's like a SOAP OPERA that never has a real ending, as the story goes on and on and on. MOUN YO BOUKE.....FATIGUE ak dossier sa.

Don't get me wrong...I absolutely believe that BOTH...NU LOOK and LAPORTE are BETTER "TOGETHER". When LAPORTE is on that NU LOOK guitar "LIVE".....it is simply MAGIC. MIZIK NU LOOK MACHE TRES BIEN AK KOUT GITA LAPORTE YO. It's like "DIRI BLAN AK PWA ROUJ" ...it's just "perfect"; but if once again NU LOOK and LAPORTE go through another SEPARATION.....THIS TIME IT MUST BE A FINAL DIVORCE! The two are like a couple who love each other, while at the same time....CAN'T LIVE WITH ONE ANOTHER for too long. Something always pops up to mess things up. In order for "BOTH CAMPS" to stop playing the fans like fools; and to stop their emotions from being yanked like a "YO-YO"....IF LAPORTE and NU LOOK decide for the 4TH or is it the 5TH time...or is it more....that they can't work together anymore.....THE DOOR TO THIS CHAPTER MUST BE CLOSED FOREVER and they must both MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES!!!!!!!!

Maybe LAPORTE always has bigger ambitions than to just be the guitar player for Nu Look. Maybe LAPORTE absolutely NEEDS to be on a bigger stage where he feels he deserves more prominence as a band leader/composer; and that's probably why it will never happen if he is with Nu Look. Make no bones about it...NU LOOK is Arly Lariviere's creation.....no matter how much credit many feel that Laporte deserves for some of the group's success. Having said that...NU LOOK HAS HAD SUCCESS WITHOUT LAPORTE; so if LAPORTE continues to have that desire to prove himself OUTSIDE of Arly's shadow...you can't fault him for that. Everybody has the right to pursue their dreams...but at the same time....if Laporte's dream does not work.....NU LOOK's bed should NOT be there for him to fall back on AGAIN.

The same must be said about NU LOOK going for Laporte as well. We've heard from Arly Lariviere's own mouth before....where he clearly stated that Laporte would no longer be a member of Nu Look after having left the band 3 times before....only for everyone to be left in a state of shock when he returned to the group the last time. "IF" and I repeat "IF" both camps go through another separation...Arly Lariviere must be man enough to admit that the LAPORTE experiment is a MISTAKE that must not be repeated once again; no matter how desperate the situation might get for his services. IF that happens and is done one more time.....the king's "credibility" will be seriously questioned in his kingdom.

For fans of GOOD MUSIC and GREAT COMPAS MUSIC....we hope that these are just rumors...and that NU LOOK and LAPORTE remain together.

Laporte is nulook backbone..If they both take 2 different paths nulook will be the loser big time....those 2 guitar players can't be Laporte subtitutes because they're average on high scale challenge...where nulook has KLASS with so much strength then with the most good to watch duo Pozo & Belkod it's a done deal for nulook.

Man shut up....... Everybody knows how Laporte is....... He was one of the owners of Disip and was the highest paid but still left! He's talented but indecisive!
