I think there was a strategy behind it....he is not yet ready to have a full blown grand public reveal bc he probably doesn't have all of his band set yet.

It also looks like he conducted an interview before the music came out...I'm just not sure how much exposure he got from it...or if the interview pushed to get all the right questions. The strategy went away from the typical/traditional methods and he solely focused on social media

Gotta tip my hats off for that kid on keeping his ambition afloat
However there's a big mistake the way the band just came out without bombing the media with promotion and a big announcement weeks or months before come up with the product. I may be wrong but it could take the new born a long path before it can be in the spotlight, it's a lack in the strategy they're working on.

Hopefully they gonna make it to the promised land.
But hey...in an Era where the social media is so powerful u need to adjust your speed to catch up...

2nd of all....so many things are going on lately...such as Albums Release of some well-known and established bands...the Haiti Elections where no one knows what the turn out will be which is put the cultural circle in limbo until the results which may lead the mother nation in turbulence and you guys can guess what could be next......Christmas Time on its way that's gonna affect negatively any product that will be out then after Carnival will keep the whole media and people's focus on lock.
It's not a good idea to come up with a fresh product around this time of the year it could get buried....that's the bold point.

Anyone who counted Richard out was making a huge mistake. Great song and good strategy to release the video at the same time. This move tells me that Richard wanted to stay visible and in the public's mind while he plans the official release and intro of his new band.
