Great song indeed. No question about the genius of Richard Cave in that song; plus the addiction of Rutshelle Guillaume makes it GREAT. Is it a HIT?? Yes no question about it but Malad in my view will remain the biggest HIT of the album for several reasons, one of them is that it's also a Festival banger. Since it's release "Malad" has grabbed the public, the music lovers by their throats and never let them go even after the album came out and until now. Remember there was a lot of mix feelings and emotions about the Carimi breakup and Richard Cave knew that in order for him to get the attention of the fans again he had to produce a MEGAHIT to calm them down a little bit and also remove some of the pressure that he had on him (The Carimi Pressure) and that's exactly what he did with "Malad" . Today a lot of Carimi fans can listen to Malad and feel right at home in terms of souvenirs of Carimi. It's like Richard "FÈ YO YON LOT CADO"
Like I said Kansè is HIT song but I think Malad is the MEGAHIT.
